Vajpayee's Political Biography. 



 Atal Bihari Vajpayee was an Indian politician and statesman who served as the Prime Minister of India three times. He was born on December 25, 1924, in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India, to a middle-class Brahmin family. His father, Krishna Bihari Vajpayee, was a schoolteacher, and his mother, Krishna Devi, was a homemaker. 

 Education: 

 Vajpayee completed his education at Victoria College in Gwalior and DAV College in Kanpur. He graduated from Kanpur University with a Bachelor's degree in Hindi, English, and Sanskrit. Vajpayee was an excellent student and a gifted orator from an early age. He joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in 1947 and became actively involved in politics. 


 Political career: 

Vajpayee began his political career in 1951 when he was elected to the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Indian Parliament, from Balrampur in Uttar Pradesh. He was one of the founding members of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh (BJS), a political party that later merged with several other parties to form the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 1980. Vajpayee served as the president of the BJS and the BJP. Vajpayee was known for his oratory skills and his ability to connect with people from all walks of life. He was a popular leader and a charismatic speaker who could inspire his followers with his words. Vajpayee was also a prolific writer and poet who wrote several books in Hindi and English.
