Your Role and Responsibilities:
Quality Test Engineer: Provides Quality Assurance expertise and capability to the Decisions Development Tribe. Recommends and implements new or improvements to existing technical support tools, procedures, and processes. May provide training for and mentor others on the team.
> Contributes to department attainment of organizational objectives and high customer satisfaction. Documents problem solutions within the company knowledge base. Provide technical support within established guidelines, demonstrating soft skills and technical skills.
> Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrate leadership ability. Demonstrate cross team cooperation.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
Mandatory: Java and JavaScript is crucial to identify, understand how the code behaves but also being able to develop and maintain test automation
Understanding database concepts and technologies such as SQL and NoSQL will help to setup and adapt for test coverage.
Knowledge of Maven is essential to understand the build an deployment of the large codebase integrated in continuous integration pipeline.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:
Experience with Agile methodologies will aid to adapt quickly to the team pace
Knowledge of cloud computing services such as AWS or Azure can assist in deploying and scaling web applications on demand without the need for physical hardware maintenance.
Familiarity with advanced testing techniques like automated visual regression testing using toolsets such as Selenium can improve accuracy and speed up the testing process overal.
